Two Introverts, One Doorbell — Long-Sleeve Tee

A midnight-blue long-sleeve tee design opens onto a butter-yellow apartment, where two people have found excellent company behind a very large plant. Their knees and eyes remain visible between the leaves. Nearby, the doorbell contributes a small red dot to a situation that was going beautifully without it.

Neither person needs entertaining. There are drinks, a comfortable silence, and the increasingly pleasant discovery that nobody has to perform being more interesting than they feel. Then someone rings. Both people look toward the door, then at each other, and reach the same conclusion without putting a meeting in the calendar.

The plant is doing its best to accommodate this new responsibility. It was purchased for the light and watered irregularly; tonight it is the foundation of a relationship. Whoever is at the door may eventually leave. The two people behind the leaves are in no hurry.
