Pavilion — Fitted Tee

It is quite a good outfit for going to get an ice cream. You are aware of this. You have checked the whole arrangement twice, including the shoes, and the fact that the destination will mostly judge you on whether you can choose a flavor has not reduced your interest.

There are plans that benefit from being small. You can want the patterned tee, the dark trousers, the little pleasure of opening the front door in exactly what you felt like wearing. No one has asked you to bring anything, celebrate anything, or arrive as an improved version of the person who was here yesterday.

At the counter you become less decisive. You had been confident about pistachio until the person ahead of you ordered something involving apricots. Now you need a moment. The outfit continues to perform admirably while the person inside it asks to try a third flavor.

Ice cream chosen, you take the longer way back. A shop window returns a glimpse of the diagonal pattern, and you enjoy the decision again. You pass somebody carrying flowers and feel that several people have made reasonably good use of the hour.

The scoop begins to lean. You stop beside a wall and give the remaining ice cream your full attention. Someone asks whether it is good. You tell them the flavor, including how long it took to arrive at it.
